who cares about rep people make second accounts solely to get rep, it doesnt mean shit. people with full rep bars have told me some of the biggest bullshit ive ever heard.
reputation is an ideal system but people cheat the system, so it kind of demoralizes the button all together. who cares if a person gets rep, i get more rep for saying funny things more than i get repped for grow knowledge, so who really gives a shit. someone could give me rep for posting a picture of a cat and a funny caption, does this really improve my reputation?

im no professor but ive vegged under t5s for the past few years as well as vegged under the sun, more lumens than any hid could produce. when september ends i can reasonably say i can see no difference in yield between plants vegged outdoors or indoors, yield is determined by light flowered under, strain, vigor, genetics, size, pot size, nutrients as well as humidity and temperature, lights used during vegging dont have anything to do with yield

agreed. if this is your first grow, do it in dirt. get everything you NEED and nothing that you dont. cheap lighting for veg. soil. timers, ph kit, ph adjuster (PEOPLE ALWAYS FORGET THIS), nutrients... dont go crazy doing some 1000w light or CO2 or anything. keep it simple. DWC is cheap to make if you have the materials handy and some tools, but you still gotta go get a air pump, water pump, tubing, mesh pots, hydroton balls, grodan blocks, coco fiber cores, etc etc.

id say with 500 bucks. go dirt. get a 85w CFL for vegetative (you have 2 months to save up to get a flowering light), get all the basics. no fancy shit. when i say pH kit, i mean the plastic vial and eyedropper, not the cool electronic one. you will need to buy so much random shit that youll go thru 500 bucks easy.

do you know how many extension cords, or duct tape, or electrical tape you gotta buy? and your taking CO2? i make co2 for my plants by sitting there talking to them and that shit is free.

Start out with 500 would be good, plan to invest more in the future if you want to get an efficient legit grow going. If space is not a huge deal, I would go bigger & plan to invest money than spend 500 on a small setup only to wish you had a larger one later.

...that is so true, infact 95% of the so called no it alls on this site are idiots.. giving crappy redundant cut and paste answeres, often you can tell they dont evan grasp the concept of the processes of what theyre saying.talkin out thier arses they are!!!...seems they talk just to look important ...anyway....jmho

i give advice based on experience, thats the best knowledge you can have for growing.
