you can go12/12 but the yield will be lower. also depends on strain but i am not familiar with blue cheese.

It all depends on how big you want em.They will double to triple in size when you go to the 12and 12 photoperiod.Do you want a 3 ft plant are a 5 ft,i would if you have the space let em get atleast 2 ft then flower reason being you will get twice the bud.If you flower now you will be very lucky to get more than a half oz per plant.
