dude, i much easier method - were you could germinate for like 7 days without worrying of that is get a paper towel, soak it in water fold up ur seed or seeds in it, and put it in an air tight container and just leave it. check it every now and then if the towel drys out just re soak it ( it shouldnt dry out at all )

You could have and should have just planted it directly into a cup of nicely moist medium and kept warm.

I was thinking the same thing, germ may have drowned already....All units we have a seed drowned, possible foul play. Requesting divers to search and recover.. if possible recessitate and transport to solo cup way, moist medium 42020.

Nah 40 hours should be ok. I have to say I use the paper towel method myself except I don't put it in an air locked container I just put it. Between 2 plates and wrap it in a hoody and put in in my entertainment center on top of my DVD. Keeps her nice and toasty and I have huge tails by 48 hours. But as u can see by peoples responses find a way that you like and go with it! I've just never had too much luck with just water

its not extra if you cant sit there and watch your seeds untill it breaks. and yea calm, ive never tried the just water personaly, but the paper towel works great if your a busy person
