can i plant into a 5lt pot?

hi, i have just germinated my first seed successfully and planted it straight into a 5 litre pot ( the only one i had ) my question is will this affect the way my plant grows because it's not in a smaller tub? any advice is appreciated

It will not effect anything. You're actually saving time re-potting. My advise is to add 200-300ml of plain water (de-chlorinated) every 10 days or so for the first month just so you don't drown the poor bastard.

yeah the only worry would be over watering the little guy in the beginning.. Just do what Madness suggested..
