can i manipulate grow with landscape lights?

i am going to do a back yard grow. (2-3 plants) i am in s. florida. can i use landscape lighting to extend the daylight hours?

im not trying to use these lights to grow. i just wondered if they could have an impact on keeping plants in veg.

it gets dark around 8pm. so if my lights come on at 745 and go off within an hour or two will it have any affecct on the plant.

the nearest light is about 5 feet from the plant location.
 
It may stop them entering flowerset as only a small amount of light is needed to extend daylight hours and stall flowering.
 
I don´t think anyone can positively answer this, as probably nobody has done it. And are landscape lights incandescent bulbs? Wrong for any MJ growing.

they are 110v 100watt lights. primarily for landscape lighting. i am asking if this is enough light to keep the plants in veg until im ready for flower.
 
bump. will 100w landscape lights mess with light cycles? getting ready to start a backyard grow but dont want my lights to affect daylight hours. anyone???
 
ive READ somewhere more or less for indoor grows that your flowering room should be light tight because even a desktop light peeking through could stall the flowering phase. not sure if this is true but if a desktop light can do it i dont see why your landscaping wouldnt do it.
 
Yes, the lights will mess up your daylight hours. Obviously it's only a concern during flowering. Have you thought about growing autos? It shouldn't affect them.
 
Has anyone even understood his question? LOL! Yes. You can extend daylight hours with outdoor floodlights. Just keep them on for a few extra hours of your choosing and make sure the plants are getting hit with this light. They shouldnt go into flowering until your ready for them too.
 
The original question has changed. The post has been edited. The OP originally asked if the lights would affect the grow.
 
Yes the question changed. Last year I started late and wanted to extend the light hours. I eventually terminated the grow. This year I am looking to start some seeds on 4/20 Anne want to make sure the lights won't keep them from flowering.
 
Yes. It will affect flowering. you need a minimum of 12 hrs dark and even light from windows or streetlights can throw it off.
