- ok ... quick ? if i start with a 10/14 FLOWER light cycle.......i know i knowcould i switch to 12/12 with uuummm lets say 3.5 to 4 weeks in to flower? without a serious issue

I'm not gonna ask why you would want to, but yes you could.
I've heard of people starting out with 14/10, then going to 12/12, then 10/14, but IDK why you would want to do it backwards.

yeah that does seem kind of backwards
I have done 12/12 until they were good and flowered then switched to 10\14
not sure it made any difference but 2 more hours of light has to do something

I vegged 24/7 for four weeks then switched to 12/12. Worked great for me and I just harvested at week 9 flowering with decent yields. Keep in mind I have a minimal set up, one T5 and two CFLs.

The 10/14 simulates the shorted days at the end of the season, therefore causing the plant to push and hurry to finish, (at least that's what they say).yeah that does seem kind of backwards

I can understand simulating the end of season, but whether or not it makes a noticeable difference, IDK.
