Hey all,

I've read on other FAQ sites that you cant get maryjane to flower under CFL's. Last night I was talking too a buddy that said he got three females full of popcorn buds with CFL's is this true???

ive got 4 plants flowering under cfls doing lovely nice buds with a nice amount of thc im not saying that they are the best lights to use but they work good, they are cheap, they consume less electric than HID and they give off way less heat

I hear that those popcorn buds are simply the result of a lack of light penetration which can happen if CFLs are not placed close enough. If you have enough CFLs -surround the plant on every side & on top(as much light as possible)this should work well. Make sure to keep the lights within' 1" to 2" of the plant. You will probably have to adjust them reguarly.
