Sorry if this is a stupid question all but I have some trim from my last grow at my buddys house and I want to know if I can still make hash with it. I harvested around christmas time so the trim has been sitting for a while now. Why didnt I do it earlier I know but I was having major car problems so it messed everything up for me. my six clones I had ready to throw into flower got killed when the bubbleponics res froze but thats another story. :-( Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Yeah I was wondering the same shit. I have some thats about 2 weeks old and I am about to chop another 1 so I will have fresh trim and dried trim I am going to want to try and make hash out of it. I saw a method without using the micro screen to make it with it just having time to settle with no bags

I make bubble hash from all my trimmings. Last time i waited over a month and half, so i had three different batches of trimmings sitting around. You shouldn't have a problem if the trimmings have only been sitting around since Christmas.

Took mine down and gave it to the homeless folks. Went once before Christmas and again 12/31. Kid you not; loaded up some little brown paper sacks with a box of matches, 1/2 pack of 1.5's, 1/2 ~ 3/4 oz each and handed it out. It was rewarding, very rewarding.

make edibles, theyre great i just made like 3 batches, i made the canna butter first, and then used if for the brownies...
heres some pics,

just preheat the trim, at 215 in the oven, for 20 mins,

then add the baked trim to the 1lb of butter, bring to a boil then turn it down to the lowest heat possible, then simmer for 1 hour,

making the cannabutter, used 45 grams of trim for 1lb butter,

heres the melted butter, after draining it from the leaf matter...

end product, and left over canna butter that i cooled down and made solid again...

i would make some butter or some hash. doesnt matter if its dried out. i actually think 2 weeks isnt enough time to dry it out. i let it sit out for 5-10 days, then put it into mason jars just like buds, then when i feel like making some butter, i take it out and do my thing.

and the butter guy above, you should try to use a double boiler. works so much better. just put water in your big pot youre using now, then put butter and trim/herb/hash/whatever into a mason jar. bring the water to a boil and put the stove to low, then put your glass jars into another pot, put that pot into your simmering hot water and let it sit of 8-16 hours....your butter will be so much better IMO

thanks jwizzle,it would of been better, but they methode i used was a quick one, just to make the edibles quickly it took roughly around 4 hours from start, to completely finished ready to eat product...
