Can I attach a timer to a power board?

I have a fresh 4-way powerboard with surge and overload protection. I'm planning on putting just a timer and my 135w mars hydro led on top of the timer. Is this safe? I'm inexperience in this area the power board says don't exceed 10amps (or 2400W) but the timer is 10 amps alone I'm confused

The timer doesn't draw 10 amps, it can only handle devices that draw max 10 amps. Your fine.
