So as the title says. Can high humidity (100%rh) cause enough stress to a plant to make it hermie?
Can humidity cause hermies?

Technically any stress can trigger an unwanted response. I have never had a plant hermi from high humidity as my fans never stop running. I have however had humidity levels of 20% and under make some lady boys take place.

Thanks for the reply mate. I turn my fans off at night to lower the noise

I turn my fans down during lights off. Oscillatings go on lowest setting, and my exhaust fan is on a speed controller so I turn that all the way down during lights off.
You do not want your fans off during lights out. You will have problems mainly mold issues and improper transpiration from your plants.

Goimg to invest in a dehumidifier. Should do the job id say

Any dehumidifier I have heard running is louder then my exhaust fans. Get a speed controller for your exhaust fan. They are also much cheaper then a dehumidifier.

A speed controller also really helps you dial it in during lights on as well.

I have a speed controller already but its a cheap one that buzzes. All the cheap ones make noise

Years ago before I came across speed controllers I would wire a dimming switch into my fan. It worked great as well. If noise is an issue a dehumidifier is going to drive you crazy. They are loud.

They very well might have quite ones. I just have never seen one. They are also pigs on electricity consumption and generate a fair amount of heat while running.

Well i dont mind the heat as it will help with night temps. The ones ive been looking at are suppose to be quiet with only about 200 watt electricity.
I cant put up with having to constantly turn up/down the fans each night and day lol
