can hermies pollinate plants in veg

ok so i was wondering if a hermie could pollinate some plants in veg just wondering because i had one in a box kind of close to my veg room so i was wondering if it could come out of that box and make its way into the veg area its maybe like 5 feet away and its a plastic room if anybody can give me some answers that would be great thanks .....widow

oh yea i was wondering what could i clean my flowering room with to kill the pollen on contact because im about to start a new cycle and i dont want pollen raining on my parade .......

No, once a female plant has presex (pistols) then the plant can be pollinated by a hermie. So to answer you question no a hemie cannot polinate a plant in veg.

Well a plant in the vegetative state cannot be pollinated. however, I still would not think it wise to keep a hermie anywhere near your girls. Why are you keeping the hermie around anyways? Shouldn't you just cull it? Pollen has a way of spreading very easily though so you need to be careful, but until your plants start to flower and produce female buds, they cannot be pollinated.

Bleach and water in a spray bottle, go nuts, run a dehumidifier and fans, will kill any mold spores too.

Word...You dont know if that pollen is gonna start getting released and hiding. It could sit around and then you might disturb it and cause pollination. Toss that bastard out.

Not even buds bro, at the first sign of pistols your female can get polinated. These hairs are reaching out to grab pollen that wisps by every now and then.

I think hes just trying to make sure no residual pollen is left in the next crop.

I would spray all the veg plants down really good with water. Neem oil would be great, any pollen that might be sitting on the plants will get washed off.

Just make sure you get everywhere, walls, FANS, anywhere dust settles.

True that bro, I agree. hes right though water and bleach in a spray bottle and spray down the whole grow room and of course spray your plants in veg with water......

hey everyone sorry for not thanking u sooner i totally forgot about this tread i just now seen it and was like hey ....
but anyways i had like three plants in a seperate container finishing up because they had possibily been tainted by another plant in my flower room ...
and i was just waiting it out to see what would happen they only had like 3 weeks..
i was gonna clean everything out and load up my flowerroom with a whole shit load of plants i had in veg so i just wanted to make sure that they would be ok while they were in the veg room untill i got it cleaned
well i got it all cleaned out now i just hope i got everything good enough i dont want realize that my whole crop is full of seeds again i will snap ugly but i think it under control i hit everything with bleach water so i should be good i hope ...
thanks everybody il get back to you guys and let u know i got a couple confirmed females and got about 18 in fower so i been keeping my eye out for males and hermies i got even more in veg that i need to flower so as soon as i find a male i will throw another one from veg in there and so on and so forth sorry for such a long post once i get going theres no stoping me
