I just started my first grow
... but there is a problem! As of now I only have access to a foliar feed fertilizer,
NPK = 19-19-19 (trace elements included)
Although it says foliar feed I have used it by mixing half teaspoon in 1 litre of water (1/4th of a gallon) and the PH comes to around 6.0 . Then I simply pour the water on the soil (soiless mix) and let the excess water drain. Can I use foliar feed this way? The plant is 10 days old. Also the plant started developing burnt leaf tips one week after sprouting and it is only worsening. The soiless mix has no time release or pre-nutes in it (so I assumed it to be a def of N) and even after adding the ferts the condition seems to be worsening. Temps are a little high (86- 92 F) but then in the tropical climate I live in this is normal. The plant is from a bagseed. Any help is much appreciated!
