I need to find out what type of plant this is to re pot it. I wanna make sure I have a good soil for it. right now its in a sand dirt kind of mix.

It is a type of umbrella tree plant (scientific name "Schefflera actinophylla"). It originated from Australia. -Please don't quote me on spelling

So far I have been told its a rubber tree and an umbrella tree. any one else?

i had one of those kinds of plants give to me they called it a rubber leaf tree or something it died cause i didn't know how to keep it going when i got it the leaves were oily then they kinda dried out so i over watered it.

any potting soil will do. That is one hardy plant. Just don't let it get exposed to frost.

wow i thought that was a scheflera my gf nagging me about her plants must be paying off we just got a moth orchid to bloom like 5 flower nodes weve never been able o get an orchid to bllom but my friend has a sopecial terarium set up for her orchids and get sem to blomn all the time they are really fucking amazing flowers
