can anyone help???

high all, im 7 weeks into flowering,the buds on the top branches are looking good but the lower branches which havnt had much light only have realy small underdeveloped buds, as i only have 3 weeks flowering left could i chop the main stem just above the lower branches when i come to harvest then flower the lower ones for longer to let the buds grow?any help would be more than welcome.

You could totally do that. I've taken the main cola top and flowered the popcorn nugs for 3 additional weeks. Just be sure its really ready, otherwise, if your just dying to sample smoke i'd take a popcorn nug and let the top finish more.
