Yo Riu!

Hope your all good... I recently got some rooted clones and transplanted them straight into 15L pots, (they were about 1 month / 1.5 months old) and had been kept under cfls so they where pretty stretched and where about 6 inches tall...

Im in canna coco pro and when i transplanted i watered to run off with 2ml per L a&b and 1.5ml per L rhizo with a drop of superthrive... That was monday and the pots still feel heavy.

They look like they are growing pretty slowly, shall i water them again today or would you leave it until fri? Ive been a bit stupid really with transplanting them straight into 15L but hey we all have our stupid moments!

Its been quite a while since my last grow so bit worried! The leaves look nice and green. Do you think there trying to find there feet in the 15L before they take off or do you think there suffering from transplant shock still?

Any help would be much appreciated!!

Thanks

Temps - lights on = 24 - 26c
Lights off = 17 c

Humidity - 50% lights on ... Lights off 70%

Good air circulation also!

Yeh let em dry out more overwatering is a big killer ain't it ;) just let em dry out till there light to lift you don't wanna bog em out. Then when you next water don't give em.so much until the roots fill the pot then you can water as usual mate. NO more water until pots are dryish ;)

I'm no coco expert but obviously they havent yet to drink the water you already gave them. No need to flood the girls. Any transplant I've ever done in soil results in a bit of shock and acclimation before they start to take off again.
I'd let it ride a few days.
I also would not be comfortable with 70 % humidity bro thats a bit on the high side IMO
Happy Growing.

Thanks for the reassurance brother! :)

Like i say i had to give them around. 2.3 L to see any run off, on the next run do you think it would be beneficial to water half of that amount and do this every other day or 3rd day?

Dont want any salt build ups in there thats all... I see people that water little amounts like 5 times a day but i dont have time to this with work and stuff! Supposedly you see explosive growth if you do it that way? I suppose when i get a good root system i can water to run off again. Thanks guys.

Thanks man... Thats only when lights are out though that it rises to 70 % for 6 hrs then it drops to 50% when lights come on.

Ive got a humidifier thats on a timer that comes on half hour after lights come on and cuts off half hour before lights go off to dry it out a bit.

Can see that being a problem in flower though...

70% humidity in veg is fine infact I'd say its perfect ;) in flower you want no higher that 50% humidity your temps are spot on aswell. Just let em drink up what's left and you be sound mate trust

EDIT as long as you got good air circulation that is ;)

Thanks for the reply shawny, put my mind at ease a bit with that info. The air circulation is brilliant, got a 5 inch rvk bringing fresh air in and 6 inch rvk for extract with sms twin working them both... My room is a 2.4X1.2 tent and got two 400W dual spectrums in at the min. Two clip on fans and a 12 inch oscilator in the corner... Air movement is good :)

Sounds like a good set up man I'm sure you'll be fine matey. I've had humid go to high 60s in flower and cuz I had good air all was fine n dandy

No need to change how much water you give them. Like everyone else said just wait till the pots are light when you pick them up and then water them. I water mine in 5 gallon pots every 10-12 days and they are enormous. If 2.3 liters of water give you a little runoff then keep it that way. They don't need to be watered every 2 or 3 or 4 or 5 days. When they are light and need water give it to them. I know someone who watered his plants a total of 4 times total and they did fine. Its all about the drainage, heat, evap, etc. You can also wait and let them tell you when they need water, they will start to wilt a little. Then when you water them you can watch them perc right up.. Either way good luck my friend.

Wow man 10-12 days inbetween waterings? Is this in coco??

Got a few pics below, come to think of it there looking overwatered, i dont know what the deficiency is (little spots) but ive read that overwatering causes deficiencys. They where last watered on monday but im thinking feeding again on saturday?? I had run off with 2.3L of water so im guessing dont water until run off? Maybe half of that on sat?? Just want some opinions of people who are good with coco! If there still looking overwatered im doubting they will need another feed even on sat? Thanks everyone!

Yeh can clearly see there overwaterd mate the leaves are drooping down there not happy mate they should be perky and standing proud.. the coco ain't even drying off on top yet! DONT WATER TILL POTS R LIGHT TO LIFT Lol I've made that mistake and trust me you don't want to have to rip em all out and start fresh! And when they are light just give em a litre or 2 to start with then water till run off when they start growing vigorously. How close are your lights to your plants? How many u got in that big 2.4 tent? Under 800 watt of light

Lifesaver man, thanks for getting back to me shawny! Yeah il be sure to do that, how often would you water with just a L at a time then mate? The lights are a foot from the canopy, there not showing any signs of heat stress... Theres two multi spectrum 400W lamps in there.

I do the back of the hand method but there even more further away now because i realised they where stressed with overwatering...

Erm just try n do it by eye until there a bit bigger say 1ltr every 2 days or so but once their big they will want a lot more.. but not until they dry out lol...I used to get through 20 ltr of water on 5 plants every 4 days then they slow down a little. About 16-18" away from canopy is good. How many plants u got?

Got 8 ladies man, well i hope there ladies haha not showing yet but there clones so they should be fine if i dont stress them out to much. I only just transplanted them on monday aswell shawny so i wouldnt be surprised if there stressed from that too!

Ahh they'll be fine mate was just wondering how many u got with your lights. Youll benefit from slapping a 600 in there tho ;) and there a little warmer so will.help suck that water up naa mean there only About £80 maybe cheaper . What clones are they? Strain? Nosey cunyo arnt I lol
