got one from aliexpress.before that had some shitty 5$ one from amazon but died after i didnt use for a year XD
is the ppm meter broken or did you just stop trusting it?
if you make a nute and it gives you same results its probably working maybe make a strong nute and put it slowly in to a weaker one and test if it raises ppm or if it goes like crazy changing.
Lol yeah i got an Aliexpress one which i couldnt even calibrate! One of my meters (Adwa AD31) is measuring my tap water at 300, thats way higher than usual readings, 170 ish. Thats what i used to put my rez at 600 this morning. But if its +130 it might explain why i burnt the fuck outta my girl today. The other reads my tap water at 170 which seems much more accurate, im gonna use that one.
HM digital EC meter like $30usd
Ok thanks i might get one of them. Thanks!

for me the ppm meter is just to check if nutes went up or down. it doesnt really matter what number. i start allways with a light mix of nutes and then listen to the plant.
have you ever fought about changing nutes?

Yeah ive thought about adopting that strategy, as you say all that really matters is if it goes up or down. Ive onlyever used Canna who seem ok, cant really afford new nutes at the moment...
Cheers!

i m not 100% sure but i think i see the start of slime inside the main rootball/mass. But generally they look ok now, keep monitor them
I would start bennie tea just in case
Cheers, ive never had to use this before, any recommendations?
just to ask, it is the canna nutes for dwc, correct?

other thing i would do is to wrap some type of tape around that orange bucket. that's too much ambient light in my opinion
Correct, Canna Hydro. Any yes ive taped up the lid hopefully its a bit more lightproof now!
Cheers!

Good morning
Here you will find all the info you need for the benificial tea

Do like the guys told you, if light pass through the buckets you need to cover them

They recover fast with the beneficial tea.
If you are lazy, you can use any products with Trichoderma harzianum and Myco, will probably do SOME work, but it will be expensive because you will need to add often and a lot of product

BUT The Brew tea is worth it. so powerful, a pleasure to watch them recover

I also live in Europe, could find alternatives

1. Old GHE (TA) has a powder with trichoderma, i think BioPonic Mix it was called
2. There is also a product with Myco, i think its called "MycoGrow" from trabe, it contrains only Mycoriza (You could also try Advanced Nutriends Piranha if im not Mistaken)
3. For earth worm castings , you can replace it with something similar in liquid form.
4. There is also a product called "Great White SHark'' in Europe, i dont know if you can find it, it has most of the species you need
5. You can use brown sugar if you dont have molassses for the tea

PS. You dont need specific products, only 2-3 specific species of benificial microbes and breed them.
Go on reading the other thread i posted you, it has a lot of alternatives

Roots generally look OK, but the they might have slime, can't see clearlly in your photos , behind the air line

Are the plants doing better?

IF you use tapwater let us know.
If you do, make sure you let it bubble for 24hours to evaporate any chlorine in water. Or else it will be more difficult for the microbes to reproduce, might just kill em.

Hi, many thanks for that. To be honest i cant dedicate as much time to this grow as id like, it seems the GWS stuff can be found here, well it needs to be shipped from the UK which post Brexit is a bit of a hassle, but if its the simplest way of gettign some microbes into my bucket then ill try and get some ordered today. Yes im using tap water, i dont have a spare bucket/bubbler to run it for 24 hours, no access to RO water either...they have distilled water at my local hardware store i assume thats chlorine free would that be ok?
Many thanks!
