Can a pungent smell be an early sign for sexing?

I noticed on some of SWIM's plants in early development that some had a stronger odor. while some did not smell at all. Can a pungent odor be a reliable way for sexing a plant?

no its not my females didnt smell at all and all my males did actually so i would have to vote no on that one

I will also say a lot of my males have smelled strong in early veg ...... but your GOOD females should too so its not very reliable way of sexing

heavy smell just means they are stressed out to me...mine have a very mild pleasant/sweet smell until they 'think' they are in trouble
then they reek something awful...every damn time

I love the full name as a username and then the additional use of SWIM. I haven't see anyone use that term here, you don't have to be noid. Besides if you really live in AZ, you can grow up to 12 plants if you have a card. No one is going to make sure you do over these boards...

The damn strong smell sucks, I'm probably gonna have to give my plants away because of it.
