I wanna cross my 2 favourate strains, but the problem is all of 1 strain the hairs are turning orange, i might not get males from my other batch for atleast another week, so do u think this will be too late to get seeds?

Hi there :) You could still pollinate the girl if she has any white pistils but the seeds will take about 6 weeks to get ripe so the question would be, how long have you got until harvest ?

What you could do if the cross is not possible is try to re-veg that girl to get a clone and store the male pollen, then could be sex time lol ;)

thanx for your reply mate, so what your saying is once my female is polinated it takes 6 weeks for the seed to appear and rippen on the plant? im about 2 weeks from harvest but i guess i could leave them longer but im not sure what happens when u leave a girl 4 weeks after its ready

yes, that's why I said. If you let her go 4 weeks longer forget about getting any smoke, not sure what would happen with the seeds.

You're probably way too late unless it is a long running strain. A 48 year old woman could probably get pregnant, but....

Always store a little pollen if you are serious about starting breeding. Breeding isn't as much about finding a mom as it is about finding the stud.

Why not just clone it and try to force the clones back into veg'?
Edit: I've had a reasonable (maybe 50%) success rate and re-veg from clones I've taken a week before harvest.

you could always leave some of the lower buds on when you harvest and put it under 24hour light you should get shoots within a week or 2 that you could take clones from

I went on vacation and let the plants go 2 weeks past! honestly I couldn't tell a difference! I don't know about 4 weeks or at what point the plant just starts to die. The thc starts to break down as well. I would just wait! Its not worth rushing it. if the seeds dont get enough time and you start to grow them, you could end up waisting a lot of time!

sounds too late to me but its' always worth a try...

revegging is a bitch, you gotta get them a good amount of light with the right temp and the right amount of nutes.. the 2times I tried it it failed miserably.

You could also try just hand pollinating the bottom buds, especially if they're less ripe than the tops. Harvest the tops when they're ready, but leave the bottom to try and finish seed production.

to compound this you could also greenhouse the tiny plant by comparison since it will be mostly chopped.

yepper. Just be sure to leave as many fan leaves as possible.

You'll probably also want to shift them back to a more balanced nute regimen if you've been running strictly bloom foods through the flower process. The seeds like a balanced diet, and it should help with squeezing those extra few weeks out of the plant.

Revegging is pretty simple IMO, and doesnt require much. Most common mistake made when revegging is over-watering.
