I propose that we take guns away from the government since they are not held accountable for their actions and are above all moral rules. I think that we will all be safer without the threat of violence being freely used against us.

lets make everyone accountable for their actions with them government and public?

its hard to ask for accountability if neither side steps up to the mark

What's missing is a plan. Those with the guns are hard to touch by those without, and become government by default if no other way. I suspect the basic premise cancels itself. cn.

???????? your not gunna vote???? The plan is that they turn in their guns...

I'm all for taking away guns from the criminal element, but isn't there already laws preventing felons from legally owning/carrying/using a firearm?

I'm in no way saying these laws work but I don't know how you'd get them to surrender their weapons as they're already shown they will break the law given the oppurtunity...

Your solution means
We can take guns away from anyone as long as we call them a criminal

the proper response is
If some one cannot be trusted to own a firearm, they should not of been let out of prison

Would that have prevented you from being shot?

So all those incarcerated due to drug possessions should be left in jail coz some leftist fucktard can't trust them with a firearm... Great story bro

I know for a fact
The guy that shot me already served time in prison

And you calling me a leftist fucktard?
I'm farther right on gun control than you ever will be

Right... By your standards is he considered a criminal or you just call him one?

If you read between the lines your saying, if we left all the people we can't trust with a gun in jail, I wouldn't have been shot.

Your proof the laws ain't working. Are you really asking me that question barry?

Well lets see
-He shot me thru the drivers door window during a robbery
-He tried to rob me
-he shot me

Yes by my leftist standards
He is/was a criminal

And since I dont see there Caddy on the street no more. I assume he is back in prison

He must have been a poor shot...

So I think you guys overlooked the topic, citizens are held accountable for their actions, its government that isn't, so what I am proposing is that we either hold government accountable (never happened) or we take their guns away. To reiterate once more, by unaccountable criminals I am referring to the gobment.

I'm down with that, homie.

Cannot be done without outright revolution, and I would think that the next form of state would be not as republican in the good sense of the word. Frying pan → fire imo. cn
