Just ordered some JR Peters bloom booster and citrusfed and I was wondering if they have it already or if I need to get some Epsom salts, which leads me to my next question. Can you buy what you need at Walmart? I really don't want to order this if I don't have to

Depends on the medium used(soil coco Dwc etc.) Also on what type of water, some tap water already has calcium and magnesium added, but I guess the simple answer is yes, the Epsom salts at wall Mart or your local drugstore are also magnesium sulfate crystals, just try to avoid scented ones or anything added just to please humans, your plants don't want smoother skin

It's going to be coco, perlite, vermiculite, and some sand for the medium. And just tap water to start with, it's my first grow so I'm not too worried about having the perfect water.

If you are using tap water then there's a good chance it already has calcium in it, most tap water will. The bloom booster and the citrus feed already have magnesium in them so I would save the money and not buy any calnmag from anywhere

Always worry about the water, bad ph will have you chasing every lockout and plant condition you can find, there are three things that every plant needs to grow, water, sunlight, and a nice place to stretch it's roots, all the nutrients and food on the market won't matter at all to your grow if you don't get those 3 spot on, hope this is helping and not discouraging, but it's important to have the basics down first, worry about the complex stuff later......Happy growing

I think jacks needs calcium nitrate. Not sure about the citrus feed, but the jacks classic hydro nutes need thier calcium nitrate as there isn't enough calcium in thier base.
 
I have a ph kit, I just meant monitoring the ppm. My first attempt at growing failed because of my water ph, that and nutrient burn early on.
