Calling All Cancer Patients!!!

Ok as some of you may know my mom recently dropped the bomb on me that for the last year almost she has been having really bad migraines and her eye sight wasn't good and few other complications, wont go into much detail. Basically as it turns out they thought it was either a brain bleed or cancer, well the MRI showed it was indeed cancer.

She went in for her first treatment this week and it really took it out of her. She has never tried cannabis up until this point. She has always been ok with me smoking but she has never wanted to try it and I finally convinced her that it would really help her so I made her some chocolate chip cookies with about .3g per edible and it really helped. She is wanting me to make some stronger ones.

I'm just wanting anyone that has dealt with this to let me know what's best for her and what I can do. I've got an entire room dedicated to her medicine. I will stop at nothing to help my mom get better and fight for her.

I've done some reading on RSO and was just curious if any of you have any experience with it.

Check into the research at both Harvard Medical and Stanford. I don't know what's still available, but they had quite a bit of very good research info on cancers and cannabinoids. Higher CBD, with a healthy dose of THC was what they used in the studies.

I would like to hear more about this as well, I have an older relative with esophagus cancer who has never tried cannabis, how do I
convince her that "pot" as she calls it can help immensely because she od'd on chemo and was to weak to move for a month (yeah, great legal drug government) anyway she said she would rather die then have chemo again, anyone?

You didn't say where you are located, is it a medical state? I have experience with RSO and if I were your Mom I would get myself on the RSO ASAP in addition to whatever the Dr. is recommending. PM me if you are in Oregon or would just like more information on making/taking RSO. Good luck, Larry

I'm from Colorado but unfortunately my mom lives in a non med state so it causes conflicts.

Thank you there is some great information on here, pity doctors and scientists cant realize this, it's pretty obvious though why they don't at school, uni, etc there is no way they would have learnt the medicinal values of
an "A" class drug, Doctors and scientists would know as much about cannabis as Richard Nixon!! still sickens me to think of the ignorance and greed of the american government during the War on drugs, I can only imagine the wonderful innocent people that would have been ridiculed, thrown in jail or even worse murdered from these outrageous laws, Marijuana does not make you stupid, not educating your children makes them stupid!

really sorry to hear about your mom gigs I went through it with mine twice, theres studies that show consistant high doses of thc can cause the tumor to stop growing and even slowly regress. thc causes some trigger that makes the cancer cells self destruct. this was about brain cancer spefically

Blue rhino has nearly 2% CBD and 16% THC. It's a patients favourite apparently so perhaps research this strain. I'm on my second harvest with it and there's loads of resin if you want to make stuff.
