It pains me to know that in some counties in CA local enforcement is siding with the feds instead of their own people. How shitty would it be to get discovered by the locals that happen to be ignorant pigs instead of being discovered by a cop that isn't on a power trip? I mean, you think you're all safe now that locals can't prosecute you, but then they simply just go tell the feds and it's the exact same thing.
I know there are counties and/or cities with MMJ friendly cops. Like for example the neighbor reports your outdoor grow to the locals and they just laugh it off. But in other counties, that same neighbor reporting you could get you busted from the feds.
I mean yeah when I begin my grow it's going to be indoor and I'll take every precautions like I actually wasn't MMJ. But that still doesn't stop the paranoia.
Fuck 1937. People just listened to what the government told them because they had no way around it for the longest time. Now people just google things for themselves and the world is MUCH more knowledgeable as a whole as a result of that.
Like for example, how many anti-pot websites are there? Now, how many pro pot websites are there? Probably 100 times as many pro pot websites. 20 years ago it wasn't like that at ALL. Even 10 years ago. Since 1996 cannabis awareness has skyrocketed and I sure hope one day we can all grow and breed and live the lives we want to with complete peace of mind.
I feel like if I get caught by douchebag locals I'll be so paranoid about feds I'll take it all down
I'm in SD County, btw, not the friendliest of mmj counties. I mean yeah it's great being able to legally buy my own meds in a convenient way but there's no way I would ever pay for as much as I actually need. So being medical is almost pointless apart from legal cultivation. But then if you get caught your fucked anyway..so it's all still a fucking scam! I mean it's a start, but prop 215 still isn't that fantastic. I'd say it's even more free out in other medical states because they don't have the feds breathing down there necks so hards
