i have a lot of calcium hydroxide and citric acid, and as they are an acid and a base i was wondering if its safe to use in my bubble buckets? also has anyone tried daves grow hydro nutes? i just bought them, apparently they only sell them at this chain of 'brew n grow' stores

Well, Calcium hydroxide is considered a strong base, so it seems like it would probably be a decent choice for PH up. Go easy on it, a little goes a long way with this stuff. As a bonus it also provides a good bit of soluble calcium.

Citric acid, being a weak organic acid, is probaly not the best form of PH down. But I'm sure you could still use it without a problem, you'll just have to use larger amounts.
