Ca Prop 64 effect date..?

So if ca prop 64 does pass when would it take effect. I read it would be Jan 1 2018, is this correct

It paves the way for big commercial retail farms. while It's provisions are a crackdown on medical marijuana patients. Fees & taxes on medicine & makes it harder to get a dr recommendation...

sorry I'm not ready to throw medical patients under the bus.....if 64 had let medical alone I would be all for it, but it taxes medicine & makes it harder to get a dr recommendation. That's not progress

Well, you are completely wrong! Prop 64 gives MMJ patients more rights than we now have.

MMJ patients who buy medicine now have to pay Sales Tax, and Prop 64 will stop that.

MMJ patients can be charged with Felonies for doing exactly what they are allowed to do, and Prop 64 will stop that.

MMJ patients who are in jail will get out! People who have been charged with Felonies will have those Felonies removed!

There are more advantages too, so I hope that Prop 64 passes, things will be better for everyone.

all the crackdown on pot dr.'s is BS.....

64 makes no provisons for medical collective growing....

Thats why I voted no. 6 plant maximum? fuck that ! 6 months in jail for over an ounce? Fuck that !

Too bad you've already voted . Perhaps a second reading with a real effort to diagnose the legalize would have made some of the points Russ talks about clearer to you. Or better yet just listen to an informed, well versed expert give a lecture on the subject.

there are professional debaters that can make compelling arguments for either side. sounds like they hired some pros to make their case

We recalled our Governor when he tried to pass unwanted laws. I am for 64 just to get the legalization ball rolling. If they try and mess it up, we can make our displeasure known.
