CA Prop 64= 6 plants 100 square feet vs Prop 215 24 plants 25 square feet?

With prop 64 having passed, I am somewhat confused as to the effects of the new laws and how they relate to those put in place by Prop 215.

The new law now allows 100 square feet of canopy/6 plants per home for any adult over 21, however, my city has always, and continues to, allow 25 square feet/24 plants per medical card holder.

If I were to have a medical recommendation, does this mean I can grow 24 plants at 100 square feet? Or would I have to choose between the two? Having more plants but smaller canopy vs larger canopy with fewer plants but no recommendation required.

This article states that prop 215 will not be limited by changes in laws made by prop 64, however, once you have 7 plants, despite more being allowed by your specific county under prop 215, would square footage allowance revert to current prop 215 limit, being 25 square feet in my county?

prop 64 relates to NON medical. 215 still stands as of now. but they will effe that up before to long.
stick with your local compliance and you'll be fine.

Five 5' dia. hog were loops are right at 100sq'. That's a lot of herb if you can grow a plant that large. If not try six 4.5' dia. hoops. Unless your in it for profit I can't imagine anyone needing more
