can i run my c02 at night when the lights are off? can't run it during the day cuz my exaust fan stays on. is it ok to do that?

you should run the co2 in the day when the lights are on...what your supposed to do is set a timer to turn the fan off like 2 or 3 times a day for about 30 minutes at a time while your co2 runs...running it when the lights are off is ok but the plants absorb way more while the lights are on...

I have read in Easy Marijuana Gardening by Ed Rosenthal that CO2 is not used by plants at night.

you can do that but why pay for the co2 if your just ganna exhaust it out the room? i say u get a couple of good timers. and set your fan to turn off when co2 turns on. plants can tolerate higher temps when co2 is being used and it will only be for a few minutes every couple hours. thats my 2 cents.
