Ok so I started out with some clones from the local dispensaries here in socal. I tried to do some aero cloning with some clones after my first system failed, what I did was basically cut the clone from the lowest point possible. A week later I was wondering why they werent doing anything and then I remembered that I forgot to peel back a portion of the stem to expose the insides. That was a failure, but a learning process none the less.
So as for now, I have about 15 clones, a few of them I'm going to keep for mothers, so I will flower about 8 of these when the time comes.
I have master kush, green crack, grape ape, og kush, and trainwreck.
These all started out in rockwool cubes, 1.5 x 1.5. Once they had roots coming out of the sides and bottom, I put the cubes into a 4'' rockwool cube. I just noticed today that the roots are now growing out the bottom of those, so things are looking good, bleach white roots and all!
Heres a couple pics of the clones. I will post more in the next day or two. Notice some of the clones in the back row dont look too healthy, these have since perked up and are doing great
The only thing I have been feeding the plants is tap water, about 5.8 ph, mixed with clonex solution. Lately I have only been feeding once a day, thats been enough to keep the cubes nice and moist throughout the day.
Using 2- 2' T-5HO 8 lamp lights. Working out great so far. Using 2 400w HPS for flower
On the menu for nutrients is House and Garden Aqua Flakes A & B, along with the multi zen and a pest preventative oil. I will start to add these in when I move the clones to the DVC setup for the remainder of vegging.
