So i came up with a list that I'm going to order within the next week for my 4 plant DWC system. I wanted to go with something one step up from what i previously used which was a 400w HPS magnetic setup, to a more high tech 600w HPS/MH Electronic setup paired with the digilux bulb. Now these company's claim an increase of 20% lumen output by electronic ballasts which basically means a 20% increase in yield, if i have that correct. And they also claim substantial differences by using a digilux paired with the electronic ballast as apposed to using with a hortilux bulb.
I came up with a good pair i suppose (according to my digging)
Lumatec 600W Switchable HPS/MH electronic balast
Digilux 600W HPS/MH Bulb(s)
As for Carbon filtering(which needed a serious upgrade) I came across the phat filter line, which ill get a 300 CFM fan for my small grow space. Coupled with their fan muffler that they pride themselves with a 80% reduction in sound.
If anyone has lots of experience with any of these products, or with similar products and has any input that could save me a buck or 2 as to where to get them or if their just a bad idea in general please post, comments are greatly appreciated as this is a large investment for me.
