Buyer Beware: True North Seedbank

Ordered from true north seed bank our of Canada. Package came quick..inside of 8 days. Not discreet what-so-ever. Just bubble wrapped around original packaging. They want you to pay extra $15 and purchase an item out of store for discreet shipping. Ordered Cheese Auto got Lemon Skunk Auto and Bubba Kush for free all by Canuk. None of them popped or even turned light color. When I opened the package they looked old and 2 almost appeared to be cracked.

Not sure if this is standard or not with other companies but a letter was also inside the package. Seems to be the way they protect themselves but it screws the customer. It said "These seeds are not for germination. They are for storage in case cannabis goes legal. We are not responsible for the germination of these seeds."

I will most certainly Never order from them again. I am waiting for an email back but I seriously doubt they will help per the letter. Will update you guys.

Email the breeder, not the Seedbank about seed related problems. Unless they were crushed during shipping. Then it's the seedbanks fault.

Most seedbanks don't guarantee germination which is why I barely order from seedbanks unless it's a high selling line cause they will sell old ass seeds probably won't even store them in a fridge. Every not so popular strain I've bought had low to no germination

And most breeders don't even give a shit so I only order from breeders with good customer service usually but usually just direct from the breeder.

I just orderd from them on apr 20th got there 420 promo I orded 3 big kush fem from dinfem and got 2 white widow regs for free and I am 5/5 although most of the seeds needed help opening up. I had to crack a few of them so they could come out of shell.. hope this helps!

btw I got them may 2nd! after numerous freak out messages because of posts like this lol (not knocking you, just wanted what I payed for)

The Canuk seeds they give away are probably old stock. I got 3 Kushy Kush from them free. 2 sprouted, one was very wispy in veg so I chucked it, like the scrawniest sativa ever. The other one grew fairly well and looked normal. It stretched a lot in flower and produced small dry buds. The leaves bleached right out from LEDs. Couldn't take strong light at all. Potency was average at best. BTW, World of Seeds NLxBB, which I also got from TN Seeds, was decent potency but stretchy and flavorless. You wouldn't think weed could have no flavor, but apparently it can.

No kidding eh? I was/am happy with both also. Honestly, I'm really happy with their northern lights auto. A real pleasure to run.
Got over 8 oz from 1 white widow auto, 1 og kush auto, 2 cheese auto all canuk genetics bought from true north seedbank in september. Super happy, everything is curing except I made tons of concentrate and canna coconut oil for christmas gifts. I made another order from true north seed bank since, and had no issue again.

I placed an order last Saturday and it got here 5 days later. Exactly what I ordered, decently packaged, plus some useful free stuff.
20$ national shipping for a bubble wrap envelope is a tad rich in my book and I think they're kinda putting the little presents in there to make a customer feel better.
Overall, I'm happy. Fast service, free seeds, useful extras....

Granted, after the banking issues I read about here, I used PayPal.

The seeds themselves look good.

I ordered from True North. Seeds that I paid for germinated easily (washed one down the sink tho, always stop the drain). The freebie was a White widow and obviously old, it soaked in cup of water then paper towel with no luck first time, barely cracked then stopped. I pulled after a few days and soaked again then had to open manually and place back in soil, it took another 4 days and right when I gave up on it, it sprouted. Freebies will definitely take more work. Iffy about using canuk again but we'll see how good this grow turns out

I only ordered 3 think different autos and was supposed to come with a canuk blueberry. Came with ak47 auto. Told them I was disappointed because I want that blueberry. They turned around and sent that single seed also. Now I only paid 27$ I think for 3 TD but another 30$ or so shipping. Also only 1 TD is going but the ak47 is and the other free blueberry.

I've ordered from them twice this year; a pack of René fem back in feb (got a ww x b.bud fem & 2 afghan #1 from canuk free), then again after the 4/20 sale to use up the points from signing up/bday/1st order ($20 off) to order a couple packs of Violeta & got 2 bangi haze, ww x bb fem & a blueberry fem as well.

Both times was super quick shipping ($20 does seem expensive, I'd guess trying to discourage small orders) but the customer service has been great & I appreciate everything being in breeder packs.

If you get bad seeds from any bank and they don't garuntee germination just email them and say the seeds were uncollectible.

Most want discuss germination because that makes them complicit in the act of manufacturing cannabis as some countries allow seeds but not growing.

I've had it happen and discussed it that way and get them replaced.
