Bushy McBush Bush - Suggestions?

So my most recent grow has been done with untested hindu cush X 420 strains. They are doing wonderfully, however for the first time, I really kinda wish they were stretchier. Does anyone have experience with plants this bushy? should I trim the lower leaf sections soon? I was planning on scrogging the lot of them, but at this point I'm just not getting the height I need to get them into a screen.

I've never grown under CFL's (always used MH/HPS) but I've seen such nice Veg results with CFL I thought I would get away with less power. (I still flower under HID)

I have always wanted bushier plants, but this is a little ridiculous. I figure I'll give them another week or so, before I do anything.

Scrog seems a little unneeded for this plant if it's going to grow so short. What do you all think?

Hey man... All I do is veg under CFL. Your plant looks great with very tight node spacing. As for saying this one is going to stay short... I wouldnt go as far as to say that. It looks to me that you are going to be hitting your veg growth spurt in the next week. And then you are going to be switching this thing to flower and it will most likely go ape shit on you when you hit that thing with the HID. If you want to make taht little one stretch out just a bit more move your lights soo they arent quite as close to the plant. But IMHO I would just keep doing what you are doing. She looks very happy and the more nodes you have the more bud you have. Keep up the good work. STAY HIGH!!!

Thanks man, I let them go a couple of days and just moved 5 (of 7) of the batch under a 1000w MH today, That way I can get an idea of the differences of the lighting differences in stretch. Just a little experiment to see how much I'm losing with CFLs. I like the bushy, but I want them to grow a bit more so I can get those branches away from the stalk for more light. We shall see, if you want to check it out it's in my grow journal below (in sig)
