Hey guys, I'm sure this has been asked before but I cant seen to find a thread on it. I'm growing organic with coco and using dry additives. The coco loco already has nutrients in it. In using dr earth 4 4 4 and then bone meal and bat guano with worm casting and the dr earth flowering dry amendment later. Should I add in now since I'm just feeding the soil and the plants will take what they want as they need it?? Thank you in advance

Well my dude so far my plants are looking amazing! I haven't had any nutrient deficiencies at all and j just lollipopped them and they are starting week 3 of flower! Just switched up to my 25 to 75 percent dry amendment mix with added oyster shells for calcium and langebite for the phosphate

Interesting as i've been thinking about doing a side by side test with straight coco and then coco with earth worm castings, see if they make a difference.
Do you add tea's for bacteria?

See I add worm castings into my mix at the very beginning. I added a 20% ratio to ththe coco with perlite as well. I havent used any teas. I just feed every 3 weeks and make sure i keep my ladies watered so the microbes can do there thing. I'm kind of trying to mimic mr Canucks grow and adding in my own things to see how it goes.

I would love an update. Even thought it's been a year lol. I'm thinking of running Coco Loco, and wanted to do what Matt Kanuks does what's the Gaia green. And I noticed he does the same treatment to the living soil. I also have some living soil and wasn't sure if I could inoculate it with a 444 like he does. And then later add in a bloom dry Amendment via top feed.

Your plants shouldn't need anything for the first 2-3 weeks, maybe some extra calcium if anything. Your whole plan sounds like it will do just fine!

Just so you know Canuks way doesn’t really work with straight coco coir and Coco loco is a soil and not just coco. It’s coco coir with humus and that’s why you treat it like a soil. I will say that his Gaia green ratios and everything work with the dry amendments but I’d steer away from this just coco coir and dry amendments method. I wasted beans, coco and time trying it. The second I went to coco loco, Mother Earth groundswell, coast of maine, bio bizz light mix, happy tree frog and did the dry amendments it was a wrap and worked with amazing results so it wasn’t me that was doing it wrong
