burning leaves. to cut or not to cut

well, as you can see, the leaves got burnt. a combo of nutrient burn/ heat and light burn i believe. anyway, should i cut the crispy dead leaves off? maybe cut the dead part and leave what green is left behind? i know its a sad site to see, please be kind

oh shit ur plant gor fucked up! damn man. come on! i usually remove the burned spots if i get any but im on my first gro and cant say if it helps or not. but got damn that sucks man~!
 
id just leave them...it happened to me on a smaller scale early in veg, plants have recovered fine...youre gonna get different schools of thought with this one
 
yeah. i think ill leave them and remove them when they fall off. i switched from cfl to hps(250 watt). didnt quite know what i was doing. live and learn i guess.
 
yup...but dont be scared to get that HPS as close as you can...closer you get it, the denser your buds...might wanna move the gal away from the more flammable and pest filled christmas tree though
 
i mean u have enough burn surface that u can remove a couple of burnt leaves and leave the rest and see if one way works better? thats what i'd do. experimentation is always good
 
the tree is a fake. and i just brought it out for the pics. im confused on what to do with the hps. its 250 watt, now i have it about 10 inches form the top buds, and maybe 16 from the not so high ones. it was like 6 inches away before. i would like to have really dense buds, but i dont want them to be filled with brow burnt leaves (the little ones that are like intertwined with the bud), because those leaves are showing signs of some burns. thanks for all the help too
 
TOTALLY off topic but your plant is exactly the size i want mine to be and i was wondering how long you vegged befor you threw it into flowering and also what strain it was. heres where mine are now how much bigger were yours or is this about where you started
 
mine was about the size of yours when i LST'd it. it was vegged for about 5 weeks, LST'd then vegged for another 2 weeks. its just a bagseed from some pretty decent shit.
