Burn looking spots

Okay- So its me again and now I have two little plants that have some burn looking spots on the leaves, also the stem is red but I think that was a temperature issue (if not, correct me.) Anyways, I checked the "Have A Plant Problem? Check Here First." but the pictures aren't working.

Currently the plants are on a 24 hr light cycle, the plant gets watered pretty good now but at first it went a few days without- I've been putting some plant food, Miracle-Gro all purpose plant food.28-8-16

Below are some pictures of both plants and the soil that I have the plants in. :joint: :joint: :joint:

dont use miracle grow. if your going to use the cheap stuff get peters or shultz and only start off at a quarter strength. i would stop using the nutes till the plants straighten up. and i didnt see your whole grow but if you dont have it add a fan

You are burning them up - your soil already has strong nutes, and you are adding more.
That soil is made for in ground use - mixed with natural soil, not for pots.

dude not goin to lie, but your plants looked exactly like my first grow. i used miracle grow and my plants were about your height. it burned the shit out of them and they lost every leaf and flushing only made things worse due to the time release in miracle grow. it was depressing to see. and your on the same path i was. transplant to better soil and hope for the best because they continue to burn even after transplant. FU miracle grow!

Your soil has nutes in! What an understatement, says on the bag it feeds for three months, you got small plants in big pots with soil that feeds for three months, id say you defo dont need fertilizers for a while yet. I have been avoiding that feeds for three months or round my area the soil says feeds for four months like the plague. Please understand that soil is food for the plants and until the plant has spread its roots throughout the container or bucket then it still has nutes in it. Common problem for the soil grower seems to be not waiting till the plant tells you it needs fertilizing. I use small pots and repot up to a bigger pot after a few weeks instead of fertilizing. Maybe flush and leave of the nutes a while i think. I also start my seedlings and young plants in a low nutrient soil or seedling soil, when they are bigger and stronger in full growth then i repot into bigger pots with a stronger nutrient soil or compost soil.

39 day later update!

Here are some pictures of the two plants above but later down the road. Check it out and tell me what ya think.

The two plants names are Ice (on the left) and Afghan kush special (on the right)
