they came up out of no were mad as hell i start all my stuff now to go out side tomats and vegs but in my baby room i looked close and there where hunders of thes littel wight bugs and some flying well cooking my soil work
 
Get some food grade diatomaceous earth and pour it on top of your soil. This will stop future bugs from coming out of the soil as the earth cuts them up, eventually they should die off.
 
the flys are really annoying but the larve eating your roots can cause problems i spray and do a soil drench with neem oil.if you cant find the food grade diatomaceous earth try sand put a layer on top of soil if they are really bad you can get garden safe fruit and veg. insect killer. it kills on contact and it says you can use upto day of harvest. but i would NOT spay the buds just to be on the safe side.it works well. hope this helps

What this guys says. You can also look into to Predatory Nematodes to prep your outdoor garden with. My buddy does it every outdoor soil grow. Predatory Nematodes are a microscopic ringworm that eats the larvae in your soil. Remember killing the adults is easy but those fuckers will come back because they have a fuck fest on your medium and then drop larvae.
 
About two inches or so of sand on the top of the soil, or get some Fox Farms Don't Bug Me....tried and true for me time and time again....just not when your lights are on haha.
