What do I do about bugs (specifically ants I believe) eating the leaves off of my plants? I was going to put a cup of sugar water next to each plant to attract them to an early death, but I do not know if it will work. Can someone please help?

Get some vegetable/flower pesticide.
Ortho makes a great veggie pesticide and so does Bayer. Better do it quick though...I've lost plants overnight because of weed hungry bugs and slugs.
