Problem 1.
Buds are becoming part of the sog screen. Growing into and wrapping themselves Will this hurt the buds or be an issue as they get larger?

Problem 2.
Close up of a few buds where leaf tips are yellow and hairs are turning orange. Is this normal?

What can I expect from here?

Thanks.

Next time put your screen on right when you flip then train the stretch through the net some more but have the buds above the net

Good thing is you can always just snip some strings if you need to

Id have to think about your bud pic looks almostnlike its a bit hot? Or geting close to being bleached?

Nice first grow. Youll do great with bigger lights someday

I will take it off. It will let more air and light in.
Should I just feed Cha Ching till harvest? It looks like a little nute burn on the tips.

Thanks.

A sog is growing plants that once rooted grow on for a week and then flowered. One should be looking for strains with very little branching so as to have 1 large single cola. No training no need for a scrog net, sog is not scrog.
Either way lift that light up a bit more it's bleaching your buds and causing the pistils to change colour to early. Typical example of lights to close.

Here is with it off with more bud photos and my light height issue Do you think it’s the two led 1000 watters causing it? I can lift it up 2 more inches and that’s it A248FDA4-2F2D-407D-A953-8ED842CE13F5.jpeg

When is the last time you flushed them? Looks like salt build up, also drop your ph closer to 6.1-6.2. as well as raising your lights or better air circulation.

See photos. I took the trellis off. Raised the led panels to the max. I think I’ve bleached the buds. Hope I’m not screwed.

I follow the fox farms soil schedule. O never have used the sledgehammer though. I have mostly the smart fabric pots. I was told you really can’t overwater them. So I would water until the sides of the fabric got damp. Waited till they dry and rewater about every 3 days. I have never flushed! How would I? It would take a ton of water to get them fabric pots to leach enough water out the sides that I could suck out. If that is what you mean. Do I run twice as much plain water as usual a couple times or something?

Do you think I should turn off the 6 1100 lumen 2700k led bulbs and use the panels above only? The 2700 bulbs are about 6” from the bud tips.

run only one of the led panels for a week or two, get more air under the canopy and keep the ph right. See how it goes, make notes, process of elimination.

Here I exposed the canopy more and was able to get to the plants since the trellis is gone.

I also for the first time ran plain ph 6.0 water through each at three times the normal watering. Sucked out the overflow and for the first time checked the ph of each runoff water. It averaged 5.8-5.9. Hope they don’t stress out!

I have turned off the 2700k bulbs and temp now stays at 77.

Here are two smaller plastic pots that were taken out from the trellis. Little bonsai trees.

IMO leaves look miniaturized from too much light intensity...hid's spread light but led's focus it. So it's way more than you need. I would drop the extra bulbs and just keep the panels to finish...leaves are also super dark green...could be high transpiration from heat or low humidity (sucking up too many nutrients). Check out Grow Boss garden rescue on youtube...he has a tendency to make overstimulated growers take a step back and understand (and in some cases change their perspective on growing for the better)

I was a high PAR/lumen/PPM pusher until I looked him up..then i started getting REAL yields and quality for way less investment.

Cheers!

My one plant buds are brittle to the touch last one on right.

When I rub my fingers over the buds the leaves and small buds fall right off. Left the ones on that didn’t fall off easily on. Tricomomes are still clear. I think this plant is screwed! Too much led light and nute burn I think? I just flushed her with 4 gallons of plain phed 6.0 water and re-fed at 1/2 strength of Fox farms recommended soil chart. Do you think she will recover? Anything I can do?

I say chop her down and start over... or keep feeding straight water till the end and hope for the best... odds are it s gonna burn hot and black cause of overfeeding it a whole life. Do you have decent buds under the top canopy? They might look better... leds are brutal in smal areas.. beams are too focused for deep penetration... they work good on a mover in most cases. IMO a 315 cmh would be relatively cool and gives you excellent quality. Even a 400 hps would be way better.

Start with a hid at top of your tent and let them grow towards it... don't lower it. And look into a VPD chart and follow it... you shouldn't need more than 500 ppm at week 4 flower and keep it that way till week till flush.. (few weeks in dirt and 1 week in hydro or coco) flush until runoff is same as the ppm of the straight water going in.. it s gonna burn cool and white ash..

Don't follow feed charts on the bottle they are based on 1000 watt bulb with 6 week veg and 8 week flower. Which is totally different from what you need.

Plants yield more when they are a little hungry... not overfed like some fat bastard eating chips on his couch and being lazy. LESS IS MORE!!!

SLOWLY creep up your ppm by 50 a week till you hit 500 at week 4... it s gonna give you an excellent baseline for future grows which you can tune accordingly once you get a few runs in... try it once and you will never look back.

Don t get suckered with all the additives either... the ones that do make a difference are silica, microbes ( mycos or npk industries microbes or mammoth P) a few spoonfuls of molasses to feed them.

Good luck partner!
