So my friend and I are starting a cfl grow and we are going to be using the " Buds For Less" book. we are going to grow 3 blueberry fem.
we already have
12-26w, 1750 lumens, I couldn't find the calvin on there--- For Free
2-42w not sure on anyhing else---$10 each
3-3 gallon pots & catch trays
Mg moisture control feeds for 3 months
perlite
timer
couple of powerstrips ( I think thats what they are called)
some Y-splitters

and I want to build the cheapest diy charcoal filter so if ya can give me a link it would be great:weed:

Also when we start I will be doing a weekly update with pictures and how my blueberry is doing compared to the Mango in the book

this is kind of a test to see if the book is true and that you can grow 8oz. for about a $100

by the way the book awesome it is great in everyway thanks Garden Knowm

That is the most professional looking DIY carbon filter I've seen on this, or any forum for that matter.

I'm pretty sure the 1750 lumen 26w CFLs are 2700k as well as the 42w. Where most will tell you to use 6500k for vegging, 2700k also works well. Especially if you are on a budget, two sets of 12 CFLs/sockets/Y-splitters/powerstrips is just as expensive as a 250w HPS. If you want proof of 2700k working great in veg, look at the link in my sig.
