Budmaster Led Cob

The LED is made by "Citiled" and they want $2k for a 600 watt unit, which is really just a COB + computer fan mounted to the back. I can't find anything on this brand, so I'm going to say avoid this light the plague.

Conversely, you could buy 3x optic lighting Vero fixtures, and have 600 watts, and it would cost around like ~$570

The Vero has been extensively vetted by the community so if you were going commercial optic is probably the way to go, for now. Cheapest at least.

Hi @Fevs
Did ye win the lottery........ lol
Quality lights mate.
Can't wait to see your grow . Good luck.
lol. No didn't win the lottery. Just been growing loads of real nice weed, so not exactly struggling for bread and milk these days. I took donations for 1 1/4 lb to raise enough funds to buy these. That's all, if you look it in weed terms they are cheap. In £ / $ terms, they ain't.

I seem to waste money if I don't buy anything decent. Then if I do, I still get more money. So I have learnt to buy decent things. Money comes and goes so fast. I spend a fortune on my kids and wife to give them a great life. Cars, holidays, campervans etc. It's nice to invest in my growing, but nice to get something for myself too. Mrs likes diamond earings, I like growing and cars lol

Well it's hard to say, Based on the PPFD charts that budmaster did, it looks like 60cm would be ideal for 12/12, Generally for flowering I try to keep my plants above 600 PPFD and below 1100 PPFD.

Now I don't know what meter was used for these tests or method of reading these. I did actually do readings with my Apogee MQ200 which is not the most accurate, and here are my readings at 12" 24" and 36". Now the Apogee MQ200 is not that accurate, so depending on what meter Budmaster used, they probably have more accurate readings as I've chatted with Paul many times over at Budmaster and typically he tries to use the best available so I would imagine he probably used a Licor or spectrometer. (but I'm not sure either, just a guess).

So by comparing my charts with a inaccurate meter, and the supplied ones, I would say that 24" probably is a safe height. You could always go lower and see if you get bleaching. For veg you definitely want to raise it to closer to 3' as veg with a longer day doesn't need as high of PPFD because the light need is based on DLI.

Great grow as usual lol
Is it 4 ft x 2ft?
What height are the plants?
My tent is called a 2x4 but it actually measures about 2.5' x 5' x 7 so its slightly larger than some 2x4 tents which are spot on the measurement.

Those plants were probably about 4' tall, the shortest being about 3' from top of soil, and the largest being almost 5' from top of soil. (its why I had to move the tallest into the middle so they could get light but also not bleach or lightburn as I couldn't raise the lights any higher.

I can get a COB 2 panel for £375 or a kit for 200. I just thought, if I did get 2 cobs they would be different height to the GOD panel i own and don't really want that

Ah right I see, I've heard conflicting information 1 girl From Budmaster said 2metres and gulped because I only have 2m40 and would be screwed another person said 3ft another said 1m60 and I decided to Go with 2.5ft as that seems the ideal ppfd Like your chart showed,i watched that video, anyone heard of that black diamond panel apparently it's PAR rating is better than anything I've seen tested I know kind are shit but it was twice the par rating at 3ft and other well known light's Like spectrum king
