More training. This is a side branch that has reached the center trunks height.

Here's a shot of the developing canopy. Working towards uniform height. Note the intact center trunk. Bottom left is a different plant.

Trying out what I was told to do when I started out, again, Greasemonkey cuts as a test, perlite, 1/4 dried out dead potting soil, water from the fish pond. A couple years back, I had no idea about environment. We'll see how these do, will post yea or nae.

I've been a bit of a loudmouth here on this forum, going to try to be better about that, even if folks deserve it. Not the vibe I want to put out there. Thanks to riu admin whoever for giving me a head check.
love your plants:weed:

1st pic is what I am becoming more confident in thinking is a cherrygasm/ dancehall cross. only one seed, Was told the cherrygasm in the same grow hermed. From what I've gathered, that's consistent with that strain under stress. The mom is 100% dancehall and I'm really stoked for that as I have chronic service related pain issues and a high cbd has been in the hunt.
Really, I have not been doing this that long, 6? harvests? 8?
Favorites.
A lemon thing that happened when I had no Idea. gifted with no info. Frosty, still have a few, plan to run them. They did so well when I knew so little.
Gorilla cookies. Flavor! sweet, chocolate, chem, mint.
Snoops Dream. Blueberry with smaller buds and more bushy. Big yielder! terps
I'd put the witch in there but she's new, we'll see how that goes. I like her enough to make her the base of my first breeding attempt.

I did also lose a bunch of "I didn't know at the time" one of the guys that gave me some of the first cuts recently asked me if i still had any of those cuts. When I said I'd lost them due to ignorance he got sad. Do wish i'd been better but this is all a learning process, isn't it? What I have now is about two years old or less to me.

Thanks guys! Just the three above. Pics are with an android phone and a magnifying glass for close ups under the LED's. Love the full spectrum for this, Currently have 3500k qb288's, and eb strips in 3,35,4000k. When I switch to the sheets it will be just 3500k.

Dark Helmets are doing great and training begins with removal of the first couple of branch sites. I like a taller central trunk so that'st's easier to get underneath there and clean up down the road.

Todays gratuitous bud shot of the Witch. You can see a lot of the residual damage on the fan leaves but she's proof positive that things can go pretty wrong and they can bounce back.

So the Dancegasm I've been training is showing her bud sites and so gets the defol treatment.
Goal is to leave about 1/3 the leaf but I kinda do it haphazardly.

@Or_Gro RE solstrips or the UVB? RandomBlame put's out a lot of good info.
On the far reds, I'm putting together a shopping list of diodes.
3W XPE R3, UV 395-400NM
5x Infrared 3w 730nm-740 nm IR LED Night Vision Camera 20mm Star USA
10x Cree XPE Photo Red 660nm
and I plan to expand usage of reptile bulbs but all that's on hold due to expensive things breaking.
I plan to stick those on the chaopo ripoff amazon thing I got as I do like the clamp and arms arrangement. Curious as to where I could source just those pieces.
One of the big problems I have with the supplemental lighting options being offered is the tend to be all or nothing. A 4 ft strip wont be convenient for how I plan to hang the tray lights. The smaller pucks would require several and gets pricey.
I'm in no great rush to build this, just was shopping on ebay and turning the concept around in my head. Absolutely welcome any feedback on better options, bearing in mind the "budget" part of this grow.
