Hi my fellow growers, just about to start my own indoor grow, hope to try LED,what led would you suggest to me?Maybe start with 3-5 plants. Plz help!!!Thank you guys in advance.
Before you buy anything, I suggest you go "growmau5" channel and learn about LEDs and build your own light with high quality components that will pay for itself after the 1st grow.

Ok so your looking for 3x3 and $300-400.

There you go, job done and you managed to skip the cheap crap and start with the best, Quantum boards. (Terms and conditions apply, other lights are available)

If though you do go for the cheapo options look at the real wattage of the unit not the "600w grow light" bit. look at the power draw in small print and aim for 50w per square foot.
Personally I would go for the kit above and either go for a 2x4 footprint or a 3x3 and know your results are going to be good.

That is to say a 600w light,it real power graw is less than 600w?I will look at the actual wattage when I considering an item.I will check the link out,and footprint maybe set to 3'x3'.That's great.thx,man.

Much better options, but if you insist on going cheap blurple, Meihzi and Vipar are also options to consider.

But for the most part, when it comes to LED grow lights, you get what you pay for.
Yea,MEIZHI would be a good choice for me,maybe.I heard many good thing about that.I will keep it in my mind.Thank you,

They’ll assemble for a small fee... also available with a dimmer, since you’ll use it for veg. You can do it manually if you want to save a few dollars. I’m not sure if that layout will fit your tent, but they have different style heat sinks. I’d shoot for around that wattage or slightly higher.
Thank you, sounds great. But it seems like out of my budget.Maybe I will get one someday.

for budget, you can try mars hydro 300w light, you can get 2-3pcs mars300w lights for your plants. Just total 230USD for 3pcs 300w lights. I think this is your best choice for first growing. And you can get it from amazon too.

When looking at cheap or old tech LEDs yeah, pay little attention to the title of the light, look at the real wattage and the foot print.
If you look at modern LEDs like COBs, Boards or strips then they will be clear about the wattage and light output. Quality ones are much more efficient, which is kind of the point of using LED.

Roughly... Cheap LED aim for 50w per square foot. Quality Efficient LED aim for 30w per square foot.

2 x 4 tray will take between 2 to 16 plants, depending on how long you veg.
Needs only approximately 240 to 300W of good LED to go from veg to flower.
It is an achievable modest goal that can be expanded modularly.

It says its 185 watts im guessing that's why is so cheap. Have you tried this brand before?
When I say panels, I mean to differentiate from actually viable LED technology. I meant I’d take T5HOs over a blurple board LED.
I use t5's now and they are absolutely wonderful. Will be upgrading in the future most likely tho as times are a changing.
