Bud structure

Just got some from a friend and started thinking, is there any way to differentiate between indica/sativa from just the bud structure?

sativas tend to have longer, pointier, fluffy buds. The calyxes are generally more swollen but further apart than with indicas. The trichomes on pure sativa stains are exceptionally small. Indicas are dense, round, and the calyxes are all mushed together. Resin gland are rather large and easily visible with the naked eye. Hope this helps!
