Bud rot that starts on the outside?

Hello everybody,

It's harvest time for me here in Southern Quebec. As expected, it has been rainy and humid.

I've harvested a bunch of plants, and I have to admit, I'm happy because they look beautiful and I can't wait trim, dry and cure them.

However, another few plants do not look as good.

I know what bud rot looks like, but this has me stumped because it seems like the bud rot is actually starting on the smaller outer leaves of the buds, and not from the densest parts within the cola.

I am uncertain, and I'm hoping somebody more experienced can point me in the right direction. I'd rather throw them out than have them dry with and contaminate my healthier plants. In any case, I probably will throw them out anyway. I just want to know what's going on!

Thank you!

Thats not bud rot, thats root rot. Over watered. Plants drastically slow down on drink in late flower.
