Bud rot found! h202 bath

I went to check my plants today after the rain. We've has good luck with weather this year but this was an all day rain.
I went though them all and they looked okay except my pineapple express. It had early signs of bud rot around some of the top buds.
I have learned from experience that it can spread quickly so I went ahead and cut the top branches that had any trace. I didn't see any on the lower branches so I left them.

I had been reading about peroxide bathing buds so I figured it may be a good time to try it. I put 100ml of 3% peroxide into the kitchen sink with about 4 inches deep water. Soaked them for about 5 minutes or so, rinsed under faucet and then separated all the buds from the stems. I usually hang dry limbs but I feared not getting them dry enough after the bath.
I have them in front of the fan now on this skillet type thing with holes in it. I'm going to dry them for a few hours and then hopefully they'll be okay.

I wouldn't put to much fan on them. They will dry, have patience. I budwash all the time and it takes an extra day or two at most to rid the water.

Ah okay I'll drop the fan then. It's kinda cool in the house anyways. Already had fan for about an hour.
I hated to cut them early. I feel they still had a week left. Hopefully the rest of it won't get any rot signs. The hairs has started to draw in. Milky trichs and only very few Amber on the calyxes
I kinda like the idea of cleaning after seeing what all came off them. Just those few buds and the water was kinda nasty.

Just watched weather report, supposed to rain all night. I'm hoping the others are hearty. Some still have a few weeks to go at least.
I feel like I'm a little early on this one but I still think it'll be good smoke. It was getting really close

Next time you should consider building yourself a little rain guard out of PVC and plastic, or buying yourself an LED/CFL and finish them indoors if you can.

The rain guard may be doable. They're all near the fence so I could probably hang half of it from the fence and make two poles for the other side. I just might do that tomorrow
