bud plant wilting :(

Hi guys, I have read over the internet about the 24-48 hours of complete darkness before flowering to trigger flowring stage faster, well stupidly i did that to my bud plant for 34 straight hours of complete darkness, thing is after i took it out to the sun the plant is all wilted. It does not seem strong as it used to, i know i messed up by doing the 34 hours of darkness but im a noobster. whan can i do to save my lil girl? Before i gave it the 34 hours of complete straight darkness the plant was doing great with its leaves standing up strong, now its all wilted :( how can i save it? is it because the lack of sun light did not dry the soil and its in a way overwatered? the bottom leaves got yellowish.

seems over watered to me. just giver her a few days with no water until the soil is near completely dry before watering again, and then try putting her back with some sunlight. also if it was not use to direct sunlight you will want to gradually increase the time it spends in direct sunlight. she just needs time to perk up. what kind of nutrients are you using? hold back on those also until it has came out of shock.

THanks a lot bro, actually the plant has been receiving only sunlight since its an outdoor plant, so it is used to sun light, you are right, it seems overwatered so i will follow your advice, thanks a lot man there's still hope for my lil girl. I won't add no nutrients at all. :)
 
I would have guessed it was thirsty from the look of the leaves. But if the soil is heavy and still damp then I guess I'd be wrong.

Are you doing a light deprivation on her now?

yes, the soil feels a little wet, however it does not feel soaking wet, not at all, im leaving the plant outdoors all day and night long, i thought at first the plant needed water since the leaves, as you say, look like they need water, so thats why i was so confused :(

Ah, still Northern Hemisphere but quite a bit south of me! Is the darkness trick something people do there to trigger flowering? Never heard of it for outdoor growing but my hours of daylight are quite a bit different than yours.

actually i read the darkness "BS" in English forums, in here people don't grow cannabis that much. there are many people who say it actually works, however in my experience it just messes it all up. i get direct sunlight from 10 am to 6pm, all of my 35 bud plants are getting the same amount of light, i only wanted to test the darkness theory on the biggest plant and that was the result, i will never ever do that again, i guess i will learn from those mistakes, its my first time growing for personal medical use.
 
Well always fun to experiment. Good luck with your grow! If she doesn't perk up very soon, I'd give her a little water and see if she perks right up. I don't see outdoor plants hold an over-watered look for very long unless the soil is poorly aerated.

ohh excellent advice, thanks man, i will do so, wait a couple of days for the soil to dry up and if it doesnt then that means it is under watered, i will water the plant asap. thanks for your time bro have a great time :)
 
GUUUYSSS, i did a lot of research and found out my plant was underwatered, i watered it and its coming back to llife. Now my question is, the bottom leaves are real brown and with holes, should i cut them off or will they heal again? here are some pics of the outcome. The last picture is of one of the set ups i have for my 35 plants.

They won't heal, those leaves are being discarded by the plant. You can take them off or leave them.

thanks a lot bro and you were right , it was underwatered. do you think those bottom leaves will cause harm to the plant in either growth or flower stage? or woult it be like pruning the plant?
 
im still confused by your pictures. The soil looks plenty wet, almost too wet. Didn't you say you had them in complete darkness for 34 hours? If so putting them back in th sun will make the leaves perk up regardless. Especially if the have had time to dry out a little. Id go easy on the water personally. Good luck though glad they perked up for you!
 
Don't worry about low interior fan leaves too much, they have already served their purpose and the plant is done with them.

thanks bro, well its soaking wet because i have just watered the plant , the second set of pics i uploaded have just been taken a few minutes ago. yeah i had them for 34 hours in complete darkeness but when i put them back to the sun the leaves were wilting as time passed by. now that i have just watered the plant , it perked up real quick so i guess it was under watered
