Bud crumbling on very top

my plant is pretty healthy but I noticed some leaves are starting to wilt and die and at the very top of one particular spear the bud is dead and crumbling and fell off in my fingers...thoughts? a few days earlier I went full label on feeding with tiger bloom as my base... maybe the girls just don't like tiger bloom going to have to flush and cut back....thx in advance. First time grower for wife with cancer

Sounds like you burned them pretty bad by over fertilizing. Just a guess. Without a picture....

Either burnt or budrot .

Need some pictures close up and of the plant and how far your light is from your plant.

Outdoor, seven hours direct sunlight, sliced open the sides of some of the pots soil is perfect shape no smells looks good thinking I burned it with the fertilizer going to cut back maybe 30 to 40 per-cent I still have a straight watering and then the feeding that's when I'll cut back.

Have you looked closely under the leaves?

Moths and caterpillars are common occurrences this time of year on my outdoor grows. Look closely for signs of caterpillers setting up house inside the flower.

Yupp.....pulled off 22 on 5 plants ... Applied caterpillar killer solution to spray on the plant...
