ok so once the roots reach the bubbling water is the feeder tube still needed or will taking it away slow down growth ?

yea i know seedlings grow faster with the feeder tube until the roots get closer to the water but removing the tube once the roots get to the water wont slow down growth will it

What makes you think that the feeder tubes guarantee faster seedling growth? It will not slow down growth if you remove the feeder tubes and pump. I would ditch the water pump altogether and just get a better air pump, a large air pump will create so many bubbles that you won't need any water pump not even for when it is a seedling.

true iv read a couple times that the feeder is to get the nuts to the roots till they can get to the nuts them self. so you really dont think i need the feeder at all. something for me to think about thanks

The pump and feeder tube are an ineffective way of getting water to the roots early on. Thepump creates heat, the tubes clog, the rate of delivery is inexact and not adjustable. Bubble action does the same thing with no frankensteinish tubes, no heat, and it is easily and precisely adjustable. This is how advanced dwc growers have been doing it for years. The pump and tubes and bubbleponics stuff is a commercial gimmick to sell kits, not grow plants.

so it day 11 and she started to show signs of over watering so out with the feeder tube.
i still think that the feeder tube helps growth throw seedling stage till a good root system develop

I have tried both with and without tubes and I have found that using the tubes and water pump in the begining until roots enter water is much quicker than without ,but once the roots enter the water out with the pump or If it is to intertwined with the roots just turn it off and leave it sit in the resivoir
also I have founed that if you put a larger valve between the pump and the manifold and leave the manifold valves wide open seams to have solved the clogging problem

If both methods were done perfectly then, by definition, there would be no difference between the two. So clearly your experiment failed. The record is clear, dwc growers have been using bubbles for years, the pump and tubes are a johnny-come-lately approach to be marketed as "new and different" and sell kits.
