I have a bubblegum now, heard from a few people its tempermental and that is a nice way to put it. she has been where in a pot about 10 days, and has been a tad annoying. All her sisters or most are taking nicely and doing great or good. She has displayed nitrogen def. then mg. dif. then filled back with color and perked up and now half droppy half happy.
Same mix and such as all her sisters, watering per girl varies a oz. or 2 by need / size. Bubblegum I have heard is one of those up there with TrainWreck ( btw my other problem girl ) they are awesome taste, buzz, and flavor, but also uber sensitive and picky.
I would but your soil with 25% or so perlite, and then just water til 10-15 % run off, let dry out good and then water fully til run off again, if you decide to feed nutes ( not your base soil but extra nutes ) cut the dose in 1/4 or so. I think 100% super soil wont be to hot, I mean cut it, and maybe buffer with a cheaper potting soil, but with proper good mixed soil, it may stunt growth for a day or 2 but not burn, also I alway always use Superthrive and a tad B-1 vitimen when trasnplaneting and it helps shock / stress a lot from what I have seen. ( BTW I know thrive is a vitamin blend/ mix with a lot of B's in it )
Good luck, just water throughly and then yeah get some nice run off and you should be fine......
Also depending on the base soil you choose be careful not to over water, as some of those bases hold more water then you would think even though the top 1-2 in. is nearly crusty dry. ( I.M.O. happy frog is the worst at this then O.F. and a few store brands like M.G. and Pro-Mix potting from Home Depot )
Much success and good luck,
EMO
