As long as you set everything up right, take care of all the plants needs and monitor everything you should do very well with that setup. That's very similar to the setup I was thinking of doing, Stealth Hydro has some very cheap bubbleponic systems and the reviews are great, lots of first time growers are reporting success and its supposedly one of the easiest hydroponic systems to use. Check em out: SH Hydroponics
thanks for the reply! i didnt notice that Bubbleboy buckets weren't drippers; Bibbleponics is 18 gal! far too much but its cheaper and 4 inches longer which would be useful if it could be custom made w/2 pots at opp. diagonal ends. i suppose if they grow too large in the SH i could get the 3 gal buckets and buy another submersible pump or should i cancel the SH order and buy 2 bubbleboy buckets w/2 sep water pumps? http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?rt=nc&LH_BIN=1&_nkw=hydroponic+water+pump&_trksid=p3286.c0.m301

Well I'm no expert by any means, I'm on my first grow now (still vegin) so I can't offer any real definitive help other than my opinion which is solely based off of what Ive seen of friends setups and systems and things Ive read online and places like this and all the videos, tutorials and how to grow guides Ive seen. To be honest I'm really unclear of what it is you are asking, you were pretty vauge and didn't explain much about what you have, are doing and want to do. I consider it a general rule of thumb that when I'm asking for advice I always follow a few guidelines: Be as specific as possible without being too technical making it very clear what your asking or having trouble with. Don't ramble on, try to be short and to the point, always be polite and last but definitely not least, Post as many pictures as possible but make sure they are clear, worth posting and PLEASE don't be too excessive as unnecessary pictures especially large ones take up room on their servers, this ultimately costs them more money, time and effort so keep it in mind. Be more clear as to what you are asking and we will do whatever we can to help.
sorry, didnt notice the subsection for dwc hydroponics. i think since i want to start w/2 diff strains i'll use the SH Bubbleponic growready kit and when they get too big i'll probably get the two 3 gal black buckets and just buy 2 additional submersive water pumps or is that unnecessary when roots are long and already touching the water?
