Ihave two new plants in buckets 12 days old. i dont think they are drinking much yet but my room is kind of dry (45-50%) hum. any way what do most of you do to keep you water levels up. do you add nute water every time or do you ever just top with staight water. I'm gunna post some pics of day 2 when they first went in and i will post some more later. also some pics of a hood i made . holds 18 cfl 12 65k and 6 27k

just mix a new gallon of tap or store bought water :whatever one you used to begin with: with the same nutes you used and add it to your rez. Come back in an hour or two and level out the PH if needed.

There is much controversy on this but here's what I do. I change my res every week. At that time I reset the nutes at the level the nute company calls for in that week. During the week I just add plain water to bring the level up. The other approach is to try to boost nutes midweek when adding water as you say. I'm just not sold on that. My theory is they start out having enough food for the whole week, and next week they get a new week's supply. I use Humboldt Master A & B with this method.

Very good point.

again your way sounds easy so i will try it. i have to use up this iconic i bought and they dont really have alot of info on the bottle, other than how to mix a gallon or liter. I wanted something that was simple and would work for dirt and hydro and this is what the guy sold me on.

I also just use plain water to top off my reservoir. I use RO water. It seems to stay pretty stable with ph.
