bubble pack insulation vs white paint

is the bubble pack insulation as reflective as white paint? searched all over the web for an answer.cant seem to find any good info on it.is the bubble pack actually coverd with mylar?any help would be great thanks.

Well...alot of ppl use these numbers:

Mylar 90-95% reflective
Flat White Paint 85-90% reflective

Im not sure about the bubble stuff, as its' crinkly-ness could reduce that.

I use 1mil mylar...Got a 25' roll for $20.

Its decent stuff.
